MARLBORO CIGARETTES $14.79        Marlboro cigarettes  is a brand of cigarette made by Ph. Morris. It is most famous for its billboard advertisements of the Marlboro Man. Marlboro cigarettes are currently the best selling cigarette brand in the world.       In 1924, Ph. Morris. introduced Marlboro cigarettes as a women's cigarette based on the slogan: "Mild as May". A female audience was targeted through a series of ads in 1926 depicting a feminine hand reaching for a Marlboro cigarette.       During World War II, however, the brand faltered and had to be taken off the market. Marlboro cigarettes were reintroduced to the nation in 1955 with the "Tattooed Man" campaign.       The Marlboro brand is named after Great Marlborough Street, the location of its original London factory.
